Health and Safety for Four Year Olds

Today's WTF comes courtesy of The Week.

A primary school in Essex has been teaching children as young as four how to carry out health and safety risk assessments. To prepare for “autumn walks” at Dedham school, small groups of pupils are given high-visibility jackets, hard hats and clipboards, and sent out with a teaching assistant to check the route. Potential hazards – such as slippery leaves or twigs – are noted down and reported back to the class.
